Prosthodontic treatment using clasp-retained and precision attachment skeleton dentures – a case report and literature review

Streszczenie

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie przypadku pacjentki z obustronnymi brakami skrzydłowymi w szczęce i żuchwie, leczonej za pomocą protez szkieletowych. Opisano proces diagnostyczny, planowanie i wykonanie uzupełnień z uwzględnieniem zasad biomechaniki i podparcia ozębnowego.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to present a clinical case of a female patient with bilateral distal-extension edentulous areas in both the maxilla and mandible, treated with skeleton dentures supported by a metal framework. The diagnostic workflow, treatment planning, and prosthetic execution are described with particular attention to biomechanical principles and periodontal support.
