Wybielanie zębów w gabinecie stomatologicznym i w warunkach domowych

Streszczenie

Wybielanie zębów jest jedną z najczęściej wykonywanych procedur stomatologii estetycznej, odpowiadającą na rosnące zapotrzebowanie pacjentów w zakresie estetyki uśmiechu. Dynamiczny rozwój stomatologii sprawił, że pacjenci mają obecnie dostęp do licznych metod wybielania zębów, obejmujących zarówno środki i preparaty stosowane w warunkach domowych, jak i profesjonalne procedury realizowane w gabinecie dentystycznym. Artykuł omawia poszczególne metody, analizując je pod względem skuteczności, a także ograniczeń. Podkreślono rolę właściwej kwalifikacji pacjenta oraz doboru odpowiedniej, bezpiecznej metody w celu osiągnięcia zadowalającego rezultatu.

Abstract

Teeth whitening is one of the most common cosmetic dentistry procedures, responding to the growing demand from patients for a more attractive smile. The dynamic development of dentistry has given patients access to numerous teeth whitening methods, including both home remedies and professional procedures performed in the dentist's office. The article discusses individual methods, analyzing them in terms of their effectiveness and limitations. The role of proper patient qualification and selection of the appropriate method in order to achieve a satisfactory result is emphasized.
