Current view on periimplantitis. Literature overview

Streszczenie
Implanty zębowe są metodą z wyboru przy uzupełnianiu brakujących zębów, a ze względu na duże prawdopodobieństwo powodzenia leczenia zyskały ogólnoświatową popularność. Jednakże wskaźnik powodzenia jest powiązany ze stanem tkanek okołowszczepowych. Poniższa praca opisuje czynniki ryzyka rozwinięcia periimplantitis oraz metody jego leczenia.

Abstract
Dental implants are preferred method for replacement of missing teeth and due to their overall success rate they gained global popularity. However implant success rate is related to the health condition of periimplant tissues. This study describes risk factors of developing periimplantitis and its treatment methods.
