Streszczenie
Zaburzenia związane ze zwiększoną liczbą uzębienia w jamie ustnej stanowią częsty problem w praktyce lekarza dentysty. Mimo to przypadki licznych zębów nadliczbowych należą do rzadkości. Jedną z przyczyn tej anomalii jest zwiększona aktywność listewki zębowej podczas rozwoju układu stomatognatycznego. Obecnie nie opracowano jednoznacznych metod leczenia. Każdy przypadek wymaga współpracy wielospecjalistycznego zespołu terapeutycznego. W artykule przedstawiono przypadek małoletniej pacjentki, u której rozpoznano mnogie zęby nadliczbowe żuchwy zlokalizowane w okolicy zębów przedtrzonowych.
Abstract
Disorders associated with an increased number of teeth in the oral cavity are a common problem in dental practice. Still, cases of numerous supernumerary teeth are rare. One of the causes of this anomaly is the hyperactivity of the dental lamina during the development of the stomatognathic system. There are currently no clear recommendations indicating the most appropriate course of action. Each case requires consultation of a multi-specialist therapeutic team. The paper presents the case of a young patient who was diagnosed with multiple supernumerary teeth in mandible located near premolars.
