Immediate loading of dental implants

Summary
The study describes current reports regarding immediate placement of implants into a fresh post extraction socket. Comparison was made to the two-stage surgical procedure, until now gold standard. There was also a discussion about the immediate loading procedure that is more and more frequently recognized as an alternative due to the growing rate of success and the short time needed for completion of implant treatment.

Key words: immediate placement of implants, immediate loading, overdentures, initial implant stability
