Abstract
In the case of disease caused by coronavirus (severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARSCoV-2), there is a possibility that changes may appear in the oral cavity in addition to the general symptoms of the disease. They may occur in an active phase of infection as well as even several months later. Changes in the oral cavity caused by COVID-19 can appear in various forms. Patients can report to a dentist with changes in the oral cavity, which can suggest SARS-CoV-2 infection even without experiencing general symptoms. In this case, a general dentist can order testing or refer the patient to other specialists and even recommend hospitalization.
