Graft versus host disease – new diagnostic criteria, changes in oral cavity, treatment and neoplastic transformation
Choroba przeszczep przeciw gospodarzowi (graft versus host disease, GVHD) jest najczęstszym powikłaniem allotransplantacji macierzystych komórek krwiotwórczych (allogeneic haematopoetic stem cell transplantation, HSCT). W pracy opisano nowe kryteria rozpoznania choroby przeszczep przeciw gospodarzowi, obraz kliniczny zmian na błonie śluzowej jamy ustnej w przebiegu GVHD, obraz histologiczny, transformację nowotworową zmian, leczenie oraz przykładowe leki dostępne w Polsce.
Graft versus host disease (GVHD) is the most common complication of allogenic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The study describes new criteria for diagnosing graft versus host disease, the clinical picture of changes in the oral mucosa during the course of GVHD, the histological picture, neoplastic transformation of changes, treatment and examples of drugs available in Poland.
