Ectopic tooth in nasal cavity – case description

Streszczenie

Ektopia jest nieprawidłowością dotyczącą położenia zębów. Polega ona na umiejscowieniu zęba lub jego zawiązka w obrębie struktur anatomicznych, w których dany ząb nie występuje.  Autorzy przedstawili przypadek osiemnastoletniego pacjenta, u którego stwierdzono obecność zęba ektopowego w jamie nosowej.

Summary

Ectopia is a defect regarding the position of teeth. It involves the positioning of a tooth or its tooth germ in the region of anatomical factors where the given tooth is normaly absent.  The authors presented a case of an eighteen year old in whom there was found to be the presence of an ectopic tooth in the nasal cavity.
