REPORTAŻ KLINICZNY

Nakład bezpośredni – kompozytowa odbudowa bezpośrednia z przykryciem guzków. Opis przypadku

Direct overlay – direct resin cusp coverage restoration. Case report

Aleksandra Łyżwińska

Streszczenie
Współczesnym standardem zabezpieczenia zębów bocznych z rozległą utratą tkanek twardych są nakłady protetyczne. Dzięki odbudowie z przykryciem guzków, ograniczają one częstość złamań korony i/lub korzenia. Zmniejszony zakres preparacji, oszczędzający okolicę przyszyjkową, czyni z nich alternatywę dla stosowania koron protetycznych. Nowoczesne materiały kompozytowe pozwalają na jednowizytowe wykonywanie odbudów z przykryciem guzków bezpośrednio w jamie ustnej pacjenta w formie tzw. nakładów bezpośrednich. W opisanym przypadku zaprezentowano odbudowę pierwszego górnego zęba trzonowego z rozległym, głębokim, poddziąsłowym ubytkiem MOD, w formie nakładu bezpośredniego.

Abstract
The contemporary restoration standard of posterior teeth with extensive hard tissue loss is indirect overlay. Cusp coverage decreases coronal and/or root fracture frequency. Reduced preparation in paracervical area, makes it an alternative for prosthetic crown. Modern dental resin composites allow us to cover the cusps directly on a single-visit appointment by direct overlay. The case report presents restoration of an upper right molar with extensive, deep, subgingival MOD carious cavity by a direct overlay.
