Opisano preparaty należące do „złotego standardu” (wodorotlenek wapnia, MTA, Biodentine), ale przede wszystkim nowe, obiecujące możliwości (acemannan, melatonina, TDMP, PRP, EMD, laser CO2).

Abstract
Direct pulp capping, belonging to biological treatment methods, allows to maintain pulp vitality which fits in with modern dentistry trends. This study aims to overview the scientific articles presenting various therapeutic methods inducing reparative dentin formation and pulp healing. The materials known as „gold standards” have been described (calcium hydroxide, MTA, Biodentine), but above all new, promising possibilities (acemannan, melatonin, TDMP, PPR, EMD, CO2 laser) have been featured.
