Foreign body of nasal cavity in dental practice

Streszczenie
Celem pracy jest przedstawienie najważniejszych zagadnień dotyczących ciał obcych lokalizujących się w jamie nosowej. Opisano epidemiologię, rodzaje, umiejscowienie, diagnostykę, objawy, powikłania i metody leczenia omawianych patologii. Przedstawiono przypadek pacjenta z ciałem obcym w postaci śruby do drewna, długości 40 mm, zlokalizowanym w dolnym przewodzie nosowym.
 
Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the most important issues on the foreign bodies of the nasal cavity. Epidemiology, types, locations, diagnostics, symptoms, complications and treatment of the discussed pathology have been described. The case of a patient with a foreign body having the character of a wood screw, 40 mm long, located in the inferior nasal meatus is presented.
