Calaject  – computer controlled local anaesthetic delivery in dentistry – initial report

Jakub Hadzik, Zuzanna Truty, Izabela Wujec

Streszczenie
Skuteczne znieczulenie miejscowe to pierwszy etap udanego leczenia stomatologicznego. Na polskim rynku obserwuje się coraz większy wybór kontrolowanych komputerowo systemów do znieczuleń miejscowych w stomatologii (computer controlled local anaesthetic delivery, CCLAD). W pracy poddano ocenie ergonomię użytkowania oraz skuteczność działania nowego aparatu iniekcyjnego Calaject® (Ronvig). Ocenę jakości znieczulenia przeprowadzono na  podstawie ankiet z użyciem wizualno-analogowej skali VAS.

Hasła indeksowe: Calaject, CCLAD, znieczulenia

Summary
Effective local anaesthesia is the first stage of successful dental treatment. There is observed on the Polish market, an ever greater choice of computer controlled systems for local anaesthesia in dentistry (computer controlled local anaesthetic delivery, CCLAD). The study gives an ergonomic evaluation together with an evaluation of effectiveness of action of the new Calaject® (Ronvig) injection apparatus. Evaluation of the quality of anaesthesia was on the basis of a questionnaire with the use of the visual-analogue VAS scale.
